Pattaya, the city of multifariousness
Pattaya is a popular holidaymaker holiday resort along the North Gulf Seashore of Easternmost Thailand, located 150 kilometer sou’-east of Bangkok. Bars and go-go dance is what Pattaya is known for, but the local bussineses has created a good deal of effort to make the city more umpteen family directed, and dedicated incentive and sporting installations. Even though the sex bussines in Pattaya is coming well, Pattaya likewise draw numerous local families and holidaymaker from around the globe.
Local bureaus has over the years tried to improve the standard of the beaches, but they are still poor by Thailand’s high-level monetary standards, and the vast evolution of Pattaya has caused the disapearance of the natural beauty which it was launched upon . Still, the plethora of hotels and guest houses, and easy access from the capital and airport, make it a favorite weekend getaway. Domicile to well-nigh 5 million tourist a year, Pattaya is too capable to put up some different dining cuisines and both during the day and night there are enough of cultural, sporting and fun activities to travel to and take in. Pattaya is base to numerous different nationalities.

Social Media Travel Competition Winners
Posted by Pixelhead
The following is a press release about a cool opportunity for two Social Media Travelers. I was contacted by Ben, who asked me if I would share their story with the readers of this and my other travel blog. Please consider adding them on their various other networks and helping them with their cause.
Orlando, Florida – 19 November 2009 – Orlando Residents Ben Reed and Brian Sommer have been selected as finalists by The Tourism Authority of Thailand in their social media competition: Ultimate Thailand Explorers. Beginning December 10th, Reed and Sommer will embark on a 6-Day assignment to Pattaya, Thailand where the couple will use social media websites such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter to promote the Country of Thailand as a vacation destination. To be selected as finalists, Reed and Sommer underwent a grueling vetting process including submitting a 1-minute YouTube video explaining why they want to go to Thailand and how they would promote their chosen destination. Selected as 1 of 25 teams from over 200 applicants from dozens of countries, the pair next had to solicit the most votes from Internet users from around the world. On achieving this milestone Reed said, “We are thankful to the hundreds of fans and followers that voted for us each day.” He continued by adding, “we started with a blank website and in just a few short weeks, grew a twitter following that reached out to tens of thousands of individuals and built an integrated Facebook campaign asking people to vote for us.” Both Reed and Sommer are connected on traditional social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, but have also established a presence on Flickr, WAYN and have reached our to prominent travel bloggers too.
Reed and Sommer may be followed today on twitter at www.twitter.com/benandbrianthai as well as on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ultimate-Thailand-Explorers-Ben-Brian/128431649795. “Managing our social media sites is a full-time job,” Reed said. Their official blog address is www.ultimatethailandexplorers.com/blog/pattaya. The couple will compete against four additional teams in the Cities of: Bangkok, Phuket, Chang Mai and Koh Samui for the Grand Prize of $10,000 and the title of Ultimate Thailand Explorer. Prizes are also awarded to individuals who participate in voting in the Ultimate Thailand Explorers Competition. Voting will take place from 1 December 2009 – 8 January 2010 at the official competition site, www.ultimatethailandexplorers.com. “Neither of us have been to Thailand before, so we are looking forward to learning about the culture, sampling the local cuisine and of course discovering the many attractions and beaches that Pattaya has”, said Sommer. “We are excited to share our adventures with our followers and fans and have plans to encourage them to connect with us while we are in the city”, he concluded. The Ultimate Thailand Explorers Competition follows similar efforts by tourism bureaus from around the globe. Locally in Orlando, the Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureaus selected 1 couple to capture their experiences at Orlando’s world-renowned attractions. And in Australia, Tourism Queensland selected 1 individual for the “Best Job in the World”. Inspired by family vacations as a child, Ben is a travel blogger at adventureswithben.com. Through engaging, humorous and candid experiences from his travels to Africa, Europe, South America, North America and Asia, Reed shares his passion for travel. His full-time job is with a training and development organization in Orlando. A physical therapist in Kissimmee, Brian is an avid traveler. His most memorable experiences include www.twitter.com/benandbrianthai as well as on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ultimate-Thailand-Explorers-Ben-Brian/128431649795. “Managing our social media sites is a full-time job,” Reed said. Bang Saen City is preparing itself for an action packed weekend of motor racing. The circuit is made out of the existing city roads that will be closed off especially for the 3 day event.
Bang Saen, the 25th of November 2009 : The various manufacturer teams started to arrive at the Bang Saen motor racing circuit on Wednesday in preparation for the races that will be held between the 27th and 29th of November. The teams have arrived early to begin testing on the already closed off circuit. Track testing was scheduled in for this morning with the pole qualifications starting from this evening.
Due to the increased interest from overseas the organisers of the event have managed to attain the International Standards Certificate required for foreign teams to compete in the race, this is the first time that such steps have been taken.
The City of Bang Saen will profit greatly from the increased revenue created by the many visiting tourists that will converge on the city to watch the motor sport action. Many of the local hotels have already confirmed that they are fully booked for the weekend. Second to the increase in hotel reservations, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions should see an increase in customers over the three day event. The local government estimates that the income received over the weekend could well exceed 100 million Baht.

Ask any tourists what image they have of Pattaya and you’ll be met with something along the line of cheap beers and girls. And the city knows it. That’s why over the recent years Chonburi City (which Pattaya is a part of) has come up with a variety of attractions that you don’t need neon lights to enjoy. However, the newly built mega-malls, wax museum, ocean-view movie theater and theme park hotels are no match to what Pattaya’s Floating Market has to offer.

Pattaya conference information
Pattaya, December 4 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Just after 7pm on Thursday Night, Police Captain Patipat from Dongtan Police Sub-Station received an urgent call to attend the Kanyas Romantic Garden Bar and Restaurant (Kanya’s Romantic Garden Restaurant/Jomtien) located in Soi Chayapreuk in Jomtien to investigate the apparent murder of the German Owner.
Rescue Services soon arrived, but were too late to assist Mr. Peter Alfons Schroth aged 48 from Germany.
He was lying on the ground at the front of the main bar located at the rear of the building.
Mr. Schroth had been stabbed 5 times, in his back, his left side, his stomach and in his chest and was pronounced dead-at-the-scene.
Khun Galaya aged 48, the wife of the victim, saw the attack take place and revealed the name of the alleged attacker as Mr. Timo who is also a German National.
Khun Galaya explained that the pair entered into a verbal altercation, during which Mr. Timo produced a knife from his bag and attacked Mr. Schroth.
She was unaware of the reason behind the argument but did suggest that Mr. Timo was a drug addict and would ask for money from the victim on many occasions, presumably to purchase drugs.
Police were given the last known address of Mr. Timo and were able to locate him at the Chaopraya Resort in Soi 17, South Pattaya.
Mr. Timo Bloch aged 30 was arrested and found to be carrying a single Yabba Tablet and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
The suspect was taken to Pattaya Police Station and placed behind bars for a time to allow the effects of any narcotics to wear off.
He is expected to be charged with murder pending further enquiries on Friday.
These pictures will inevitably go up on the internet and it won’t be the first time a ‘wife left behind’ has found out what her her husband has been up to.
Now, before I sound totally hyprocritical, some years ago I did the Thai investigation for a programme called, rather unoriginally, ‘The Sex Slave Trade’ which was networked in the UK, and sold on to Australia and New Zealand.
Actually the victims of this trade were not from Soi Cowboy or Soi Thaniya. But the producer/director insisted on secret filming in these area from a blacked out van.
This was not without its comic moments. First of all in Soi Thaniya the ‘reporter’ was instructed to walk slowly down the street casually talking to the girls outside each establishment.
He could not speak Thai.  Few of the girls spoke English, but many spoke Japanese. And not one single one of them would give him a passing glance, let alone open up a dialogue or let him into her bar.
Then came Soi Cowboy. This meant actually driving up the Soi again as all the food vendors had to move their stalls to make away.
We were going far slowler than walking speed, which attracted the attention of the Soi Bobby who kept banging on the sides of the van (above). We of course refused to open the doors and sped off into Soi 23. I made my escape and managed to get back to have a late drink at ‘Moonshine’ with amiable cricketer Aussie Steve. Like Gavin, who parted company with Dean Palmer, the Executive producer of ‘Big Trouble in Thailand’ I also complained about ‘The Sex Slave Trade’.
Its all here somewhere.
Finally if you want to see Olly defending himself, it’s all here on Episode 5 Part 1 of ‘Big Trouble in Thailand’

When you are looking for a Pattaya Convention
i like pattis better in the quiet season, december is to crowdy for me and the bar fine are up to about 1500 bath in the ago gos. Most of the stunners are taken and the rest is makeing more money having lady drinks and do short time rather then makeing a man happy all night for cheap pay.
! how rude is that!!!!!
i LIKE TO HAVE THE AGOGO ALL TO MY LONESOME !!!
IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK!!! HMMM
I DINK NOT
but still I will spent my next 6 month there, only a short jobsession in nov/dec.
Two 18teen year old blowing my …………yes thank you
life is good in pattis, the tropical paradise, the peace and quiet, the loving and sharing, the absence of crime. The outstanding quality of urban planning and the smooth traffic. The cleannessThe Pattaya Sex Life - Getting Perverted
Well as it is nearly Christmas I was surfing the net to decide on a nice Christmas present for myself and also looking for a turkey basting recipe, or maybe I spelt spit roasting wrong or something and I came across this site, secretmotions.com.
I have been through the whole website and it has nothing about turkeys although I don’t think they would be too shocked if you wanted to be chained up and whipped whilst doing rude things with a defrosted turkey, of course what caught my attention was that it was in Pattaya, although I did notice the blurb about bondage, fetish and S+M club vaguely, so I decided as it is only down the road from me to take the old bicycle out for a spin.
The bar is just off of Soi Thepprasit on Soi 10, pretty ropey little Soi that leads onto what used to be the old Soi 17 that leads into Pattaya.
The Pattaya Fetish Bar, 5 shophouses wide, thats quite an investment for the middle of nowhere, ie the outskirts of Pattaya.
Anyway here are some of the comments that have been posted on their website with requests of how perverse can they get.
A subslave that wants to be watched and humiliated.
Anal fisting in Pattaya, hmmmm, is that a teakdoor member?
Sounds like your normal average Thailand TEFLer to me.
q8 in the email address, do many Germans work in Kuwait?
The funny thing is you can also view secret motions replies, to most the answer was yes, the others were told they had been sent an email with prices, so I assume that was a yes aswell
This place has several fantasy rooms, ie a hospital fantasy room, a classroom fantasy room, and strangely enough a military fantasy room which is painted in military camo colors, suppose its for all the ex SAS, CIA, FBI etc that seem to reside in Pattaya.
The bar area which is called the voyeur room, hate to think what people get up to here.
The hospital room, best make sure she washes her hands first
And the military fantasy room, be interesting to find out what sort of deviants use this room
It’s a well known fact that all Pattaya perverts are rich, much the same as all gays wear dresses and secret motions does seem to be taking advantage of this fact, entrance fee is 700baht for non members which includes your first drink, after that drinks are a paltry 300baht each, slave drinks are only 250baht each so you could rack up quite a bill if you spend a few hours there, or you could become a member, 1 month membership is a mere 6,000baht and will get you free entry, 18 beers and a bar fine, sounds too good to be true don’t it
So lets have a look at some of the lovely Thai ladies that you probably wouldn’t want to take home and introduce to your family
Ugly or not?
This situation looks quite good.
Wonder if your allowed to poke things through the bars. I’d let her out, she has a cute smile
Is that a sadistic ladyboy?
Still, for those that way inclined I suppose it gives another option for those jaded souls that are bored with The Castle down on 3rd Road.
Guests you do need to be a member to view this video, regardless of how many times you click play it will not play untill you become a member of TeakDoor.
